They can be connected on one end to a Local Area Network (LAN) and on the other end to an RFID reader via USB cable. When the user presents a card to the reader, the information is sent over the network to a local server and depending on the response, a print job can be released or , in the example of industrial robotics, operator authorization granted. Thanks to the TCPConv, you can use the RFID technology in your network without having to change your complete IT infrastructure. Thanks to the USB and RS-232 interfaces on the device, it is also compatible with almost all RFID devices of the ELATEC TWN3 and TWN4 product families.
