It is pin compa tible with industry standard 74F/FCT/LS/AS/ALS257 logic devices. Its control inputs were not just designed to meet standard and LV CMOS/TTL logic level, but also designed to be used with most advanced chipset or S OC with 1.8V control inputs and outputs. It built in undershoot clamping diodes on all control inputs and switch in puts that results in robust and reliable switching.

The switch contributes no propagation delay other tha n the RC delay of the On-Resistance of the switch and the load capacitance. The time constant for the switch alone is of the order of 0.25ns for 50pF load. Since this time constant is much smaller than the rise/fall times of typical driving signals, it adds very little propagation delay to the system. Propagation delay of the switch when used in a system is determined by the driving circuit on the driving side of the switch and its interactions with the load on the driven side.
