This document must be retained for future reference. It is the responsibility of the person installing the electrical equipment to ensure that the installation meets the requirements of the IET wiring regulations and is therefore ‘fit for purpose’. Factors such as correct selection of components, cable sizing, protective devices and Earth bonding are all critical and should be checked prior to full testing and power-up. Any other regulations applicable to the equipment being installed such as the Machinery Directive and current health and safety legislation must also be adhered to. All connections (including factory made) must be checked for the correct tightness prior to commissioning of the electrical installation. All connections should also be inspected periodically to ensure correct tightness. Remove blank modules installed on the DIN rail. Note: For TPNSPD12MKIT, remove the pre- installed DIN rail and replace with the slotted DIN rail provided. 2) Ensure that the SPD cartridges are in the correct ori- entation (PE on top). If not, remove SPD cartridges from holder and replace. Ensure that the correct SPD module (Earth) is installed at the correct part of the holder. 3) Insert the 3 Pole 125A Main Switch to the bottom- left-most three-phase way on the board with the OFF position pointing towards the centre of the board. Ensure that the terminals are tightened to the correct torque (See reverse). 4) Attach the SPD on to the din rail located on the left of the 4 Pole 125A Main Switch Incomer. Ensure that the PE is located at the top.

Brown wire: L1 Main Switch to L1 SPD Black wire: L2 Main Switch to L2 SPD Grey wire: L3 Main Switch to L3 SPD 6) Connect the SPD to the Neutral terminal. Blue wire: N (SPD) to Neutral Terminal 7) Connect the SPD to the Earth Terminal. Earth wire: PE (SPD) to Earth Terminal 8) Replace the Neutral Cover. 9) Attach the TPN front cover ensuring that the SPD goes through the window cut-out provided on the lid.
