4.1 Contrast Control

LCD contrast control could be adjusted by VR, P1, on the Interface Board.

4.2 Jumpers

4.4 Data Packet

The command and data should be send by packet. Each packet containing 4 element. Opcode (1byte in ASCII) No. of Data/Command (2byte, in ASCII) Data (depends on no of byte) Stop byte (1byte in ASCII)

4.6 Handshaking

Interface Board will provide a return signal for handshaking. The provided signal are in ASCII code. Response Code (ASCII) Note > Ready to receive : Correct Packet Received ! Error Packet Received Wait until Ready signal then send again If not use handshake during the communication. It is necessary to provide 50ms between each command package.

Any mechanical shock (eg. dropping form high place) will damage the device. 2. Do not add excessive force on the device. 3. Never attempt to disassemble or rework the device. 4. When mounting the device, make sure that it is free form twisting, warping and distortion. 5. Only hold the device by its side. 6. Never add force to component of the device. It may cause invisible damage or degrade of the reliability. 7. This could be easily damaged by static electricity. Be careful to maintain an optimum anti-static work environment to protect it. 8. Take care and prevent get hurt by the device sharp edge. 9. Never operate the device exceed the absolute maximum ratings. 10. Keep the signal line as short as possible to prevent noisy signal applying to the device. 11. Never apply signal to the device without power supply. 12. Device reliability may be reduced by temperature shock. 13. When storing the device, avoid exposure to the direct sunlight, high humidity, high temperature or low temperature.
