The spacious openings on the bottom of the cabinet enable to install manifolds with different center distances. The cabinet door can be opened without using any tool for a quick and convenient intervention on the shut-off cocks, and it remains tightly closed thanks to the grooves on the frame surface. The example image shows the R585C-1 manifolds with R594 end caps and R259D ball valves, installed in the R599 cabinet. For cold domestic water is used an R585C-1 manifold with 5 outlets. For hot domestic water is used an R585C-1 manifold with 3 outlets. R585C-1 /5 R585C-1 /3 R598K R594 R259D R259D R594 R599  Installation  WARNING. Installation must be carried out by qualified operators according to the instructions provided. Assembling the manifold The modular manifolds are available in versions with 2 to 8 outlets and are supplied already assembled, glued together. Thread phasing provides state-of-the-art alignment of the manifolds. The O-Ring on the male thread ensures proper sealing with no need to use hemp or PTFE.  WARNING. The manifolds with nr. 5, 6, 7 and 8 outlets are composed of manifolds with nr. 2, 3 or 4 outlets glued together. The junction of the two manifolds must not be subjected to torsional stresses. Connecting the adaptors The 50-mm center distance of the outlets enables to also use compression-fitting adaptors for 20-mm plastic or multilayer pipes (RM179Y056). Tighten the adaptors with the R131Y004 wrench. R131 Installing the handwheel plates The handwheels (A) are connected to the shut-off cock with a screw (D) and include two metal plates: - plate (B) shows the corresponding usage point (eg. shower, basin, etc.); - plate (C) goes over plate (B) and features a blue side and a red side to promptly identify if hot or cold domestic water is flowing through the manifold. This enables to streamline the quantity of stocked products. D A B C
