The normally closed R473E/R473HE thermo-electric actuators are totally noiseless and highly durable as they do not include mechanisms subject to wear and tear. • The actuator shell cannot be disassembled and should never be opened.
• Tampering will immediately void the product warranty.
• The power supply cable cannot be replaced; should the cable be damaged, replace the actuator.
• Only qualified operators should carry out the electric connections after shutting down the power and carefully checking the voltage, which must match the one indicated.

Installing R473E actuators on valve bodies To install the thermo-electric actuators on valves and/or manifolds with Giacomini Clip Clap connection, follow the steps below: 1) manually install the adapter included on the valve body; 2) place the thermo-electric actuator vertically to the adapter; 3) install the thermo-electric actuator on the adapter pushing it till it CLICKS into position; 4) wire the actuator carefully following the diagram of the instructions provided. Installing R473HE actuators on valve bodies To install the R473HE thermo-electric actuators on valves and/or manifolds with M30 x 1,5 mm connection, follow the steps below: 1) manually screw the adapter included on the valve body; 2) place the thermo-electric actuator vertically to the adapter; 3) install the thermo-electric actuator on the adapter pushing it till it CLICKS into position; 4) wire the actuator carefully following the diagram of the instructions provided.  Installation Possible installation positions The thermo-electric actuator can be installed horizontally or vertically.  WARNING. Installing the product upside down may reduce its duration under special conditions (e.g. contaminated wa-ter).
