The access point is a Class 1 device allowing it to operate at a distance of 100m in open space using the supplied antennas. The LM3001 can be used in a wide range of applications including asset tracking, building automation and data collection. This makes it suitable for installation in a variety of locations such as warehouses, schools, offices, factories, airports and stadiums. The access point has quad Qualcomm modules combining Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) and C lassic radios using a dual mode Bluetooth 5.0 stack, plus a high-performance micro-processing unit and embedded Linux operating system.
