Before attempting to use this product, please read these instructions carefully. In doing so you will ensure your safety and you can look forward to your purchase giving you long and satisfactory service. Beware of wearing loose clothing & ensure cuffs are secured. ALWAY learn the applications, limitations and potential hazards relating to the tool you are using. Read and become familiar with all operating instructions. ALWAYS wear safety goggles manufactured to the latest European Safety Standards when drilling. Everyday eyeglasses DO NOT have impact resistant lenses and are NOT safety glasses. ALWAYS check for damage before use to ensure that the tool will operate properly. If in doubt, do not use. Consult your local dealer. Any damage should be properly repaired or the part replaced. ALWAYS check for alignment of moving parts and any condition that may affect operation. ALWAYS keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite accidents. ALWAYS ensure that adequate lighting is available and that you will not be working in your own shadow. ALWAYS concentrate on the job in hand, no matter how trivial it may seem. Be aware that accidents are caused by carelessness. ASSEMBLY & USER INSTRUCTIONS 1. Insert the steel column ‘A’ into the base and tighten the two fixing screws. 2. Attach the leverage arm in the two places with a bolt ‘B’ and knob ‘C’ as shown. IMPORTANT: Note that the knob ‘C’ has a longer thread than knobs ‘E’ & ‘F’. 3. Insert the depth rod ‘D’ into its hole and hold in the required position by screwing in the knob ‘E’. 4. Attach the knob ‘F’ to the collar ‘G’ (this will hold your drill in place when tightened). 5. Slide the depth rule into the slot provided on the left side behind the collar, and line up so that the pointer points to zero. 6. To adjust the collar ‘G’ to the required height on the steel column, slacken the knob ‘C’ and move collar and then re-tighten knob ‘C’ to secure. CAUTION: NEVER USE WITH A DRILL IN ‘HAMMER’ MODE.

Once stand is set up and ready for use, the drill bit in your drill should move down towards the centre of the indent in the base ‘H’. If it is out of line, slacken knob ‘C’ and readjust collar. 9. We recommend that this drill stand is secured to your workbench using the four mounting holes ‘J’ in the base. 10. Drill manufacturers safety warnings must be followed before commencing any work.
