Copyright: © 2016 Novaris Pty Ltd TSC - Transient Surge Counters TSC (0017-D2V2) Transient Surge Counters Use the Novaris range of Transient Surge Counters to monitor the level of surge activity at your site. This information can be used to monitor the effectiveness of the installed structural and surge protection equipment. Structural and Surge Protection Monitoring The TSC series comes in a variety of configurations to suit a wide range of monitoring applications. The TSC1-IP65 is designed to be installed on downconductors such as those used in structural protection or even tower legs. This gives an indication of direct strike activity. The TSC1-DIN range is designed for monitoring earth conductors directly or indirectly via a current transformer. This gives an indication of the effectiveness of the surge protection devices on site by monitoring the SPDs earth connection Sensitive but with excellent noise rejection The Novaris TSC range is sensitive enough to detect a surge lasting for a fraction of a millisecond at only 100A but will reject all background noise to deliver accurate results.

The TSC range has a battery life of 7 years. The unit display is always on requiring no interaction to record the current count level. The display can be reset with a simple button press.
