Description
The TPV710 is a watchdog timer circuit which prevents system failures caused by certain types of hardware errors or software errors. The TPV710 watchdog timer circuit has an input, WDI, and output WDO. The input is used to clear the internal watchdog timer periodically within the specified timeout period t WD. While the system operates correctly, it periodically toggles the watchdog input, WDI. If the system fails, the watchdog timer is not reset, and the watchdog output, WDO, is asserted. The TPV710 has an enable input, EN, which can enable or disable the watchdog functionality. The EN is connected to the internal pull-down resistor. The device is enabled if the EN pin is left floating. The TPV710 is available in SOT23-5 package. The operation temperature range is -40℃ to 125℃.
