It is essential that the user makes sure that cooling is ad - e quate and that the maximum junction tem per a ture of the re - lay is not ex ceed ed. This relay is designed for use in applications in which it is exposed to high surge con di - tions. Care must be taken to ensure proper heatsinking when the relay is to be used at high sustained currents. Ade- quate electrical con nec tion between relay terminals and cable must be ensured. This is to en - sure uninhibited heat transfer and high thermal fa tigue strength. The relay has been designed for applications requiring lar- ge numbers of load cycles.
