Handling Cautions: 13-1) Mounting of module : a) Please power off the module when you connect the input/outpu t connector. b ) P o l a r i z e r w h i c h i s m a d e o f s o f t m a t e r i a l a n d s u s c e p t i ble to flaw must be handled carefully. c ) P r o t e c t i v e f i l m ( L a m i n a t o r ) i s a p p l i e d o n s u r f a c e t o p r otect it against scratches and dirt. d ) Please following the tear off direction as fi gure 13-1 to remove the protective film as slowly as possible, so that electrostatic charge can be minimized. 13-2) Precautions in mounting : a) When metal part of the TFT-LCD module (shielding lid and rea r case) is soiled, wipe it with soft dry cloth. b) Wipe off water drops or finger grease immediately. Long contact with water may cause discoloration or spots. c ) T F T - L C D m o d u l e u s e s g l a s s w h i c h b r e a k s o r c r a c k s e a s i l y if dropped or bumped on hard surface. Please handle with care. d ) S i n c e C M O S L S I i s u s e d i n t h e m o d u l e . S o t a k e c a r e o f static electricity and earth yourself when handling. 13-3) Adjusting module a) Adjusting volumes on the rear face of the module have been s et optimally before shipment. b) Therefore, do not change any adjusted values. If adjusted va lues are changed, the specifications described may not be satisfied. 13-4) Others: a) Do not expose the module to direct sunlight or intensive ultraviolet rays for many hours. b ) S t o r e t h e m o d u l e a t a r o o m t e m p e r a t u r e place.
