MP Signals & Controls AC OK/Power Fail M odule A , J, B , C , E & K. W hen fitted in m odule position 1 of the chassis, pins 10 and 2 provide a m inim um of 5 m s w arning of loss of output regulation. Current Share M odule A , J, B , C & V1 of E & K . C onnecting pins 2 & 4 of like part num ber m odules (3 m axim um ) w ithin the sam e chassis or separate chassis w ill force current share of the outputs. DC OK M odule A , J, B , C & V1 of D , E & K. Pins 8 and 2 provide notification that the output voltage is w ithin regulation via a logic 1. (Reverse logic option available, i.e. high or D C N O T O K ). Global Inhibit Inhibiting the m odule fitted in position 1 w ill inhibit all outputs of other m odules & the cooling fan. If individual inhibit is required on the m odule fitted in chassis postion 1 alternate configurations are available, please consult our application engineering team . Inhibit M odule A , J, B , C , E & K. Pins 6 and 2 (return) provide on/off control of the m odule. A pplying a logic ‘0’ betw een these pins turns the outputs off. (E m odule pins 6 and 7). O pen or logic high to enable. (Reverse logic option available, i.e. high for outputs off, low for outputs on). Reverse logic is standard for the ‘J ’ & ‘K ’ m odules via Pin 7 . Lower Earth Leakage Current A ll chassis can be supplied w ith less than 300 µA or 5 00 µA earth leakage current as an option, conducted EM C is C lass A w ith these options, consult sales for details and part num bering. Modules in Parallel Single output m odules w ith the sam e part num ber and V1 of dual and triple output m odules can be paralleled to obtain increased output current. These m odules can be either fitted in the sam e chassis or different chassis w ith their outputs connected directly together and current share connections m ade. Modules in Series Single output m odules can be connected in series to obtain alternate output voltages not available from a single m odule. For exam ple, a 10 V (AG m odule) can be connected in series w ith a 6 V (A E m odule) to obtain an output voltage of 16 V. For voltages >8 0 V consult sales for details. Output Voltage Programming M odule J The voltage of the ‘J ’ m odule can be rem otely program m ed via a 0-5 V signal. C onsult sales for details. Remote Sense M odule A , J, B , C , K & V1 of E . Pins 1 (+ve) and 2 (-ve) provide com pensation for voltage drops in application w iring up to a m axim um of 0.5 V. M odule D .
