GND | t—_ [3] -» Ye FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION For use as a decoder, specify inputs Da, Dg, and De in ; 3-bit binary code. In the case of decoding function, the Ey is Outline 16P4 kept in high state while Ez and E3 are kept low. If Ey, E> and E are not in these conditions, all the outputs become high, irrespective of the status of Da~Dc. For use as a demultiplexer, Ey, Ez and Ey are used as data inputs and Da, Dg, and De as selection inputs. This forms a 1-line to 8-line demultiplexer.
