2 Mil Kapton Tape

Kapton Tape is made from DuPont Kapton® Polyimide film with silicon adhesive. It has been used in applications at temperatures as low as -73°C (-99°F) and as high as 260°C (500°F). Features:

  • Thin and conformable enabling masking of uneven surfaces
  • Wide operating temperature range up to 500°F
  • Removes cleanly without adhesive residue after exposure to heat
  • High performance silicone adhesive
  • High strength backing provides superior resistance to puncture and tear
  • Resistance to chemical attack APPLICATIONS: 3D Printing, Aerospace Assembly, Automotive Facilities, Electronic Assembly, Fiber Optics Manufacturing, and Solar Panels.
