They are a cost-effective alternative to barrier strips that require labor-intensive wire lugs and they reduce the numb er of electrical connections in circuits. Eurostrips feature tubular screw clamp s, wire protectors, and are ready for immediate wire hookup. Eurostrips are ideal in small spaces, w hich means more room for other compon ents or reduced enclosure size. Free float or mount them onto any panel. They are available in easy-to-cut 12-pole strips or pre-cut. Feed-Through Eurostrips are sup - plied with wire protectors. Use standard screws or mounting pins, offered as acces - sories in this sec - tion, or leave them free floating to completely elimi - nate mou nting. Simply strip the w ire insulation, insert the wire and tighten the screw to achieve a gas- tight, electrically efficient connection— every time. Wire lugs are eliminated, saving material cost and installation time. EA S Y M O D I F I C A T I O N R E D U C E S IN V E N T O R Y O ffered in easy to cut 12 pole strips, they can also be ordered precut with the required num ber of poles. Polyamide housing can be cut with a utility knife or hacksaw , providing flexibility to m eet changing needs. Because standard 12 pole strips can be so easily cut to the required numb er of poles, stocking is simplified and inventory is minimized. R E L I A B L E C O N N E C T I O N EV E R Y T I M E The basis for the Eurostrip’s reliable connection is a precision mach ined tubular screw clamp insert ma de from highly conductive copper alloy wh ich is nickel plated for ma ximum corrosion resistance. The clamp ing screw ma terial is high strength steel to pre - vent screw head breakage or thread damag e. This pro - vides trouble free operation. Screws are electro - galvanized and bluechrom ated to provide corrosion resistance. Op tional nickel plated brass screw s m ay be ordered for highly corro - sive environme nts or marine applica - tions. Standard Eurostrips feature stainless steel wire protectors. Unlike wire pro - tectors found in many competitive prod - ucts w hich use copper alloy ma terials, stainless steel has superior me mory characteristics. Acc ordingly, the wire protector will return to its original posi - tion even after repeated use. This me ans trouble-free wire insertion and quicker reconnections. H O U S I N G S Eurostrip housings are injection molded from self-extinguishing polyamide 6.6 mo lding material, possessing high dielectric strength and excellent electri - cal insulation and tempe rature resist - ance. Each housing has been specially designed to provide creepage and clearance distances to achieve ratings up to 600V. Choose low profile, flat base housings for minimum clearance applications (300V) or housings with mo unting feet for maximum voltage isolation (600V). A C C E S S O R I E S External jump ers bus potentials betwe en poles on Eurostrips, eliminat - ing wire jump ers and reducing wiring time. Isolation partition increases clearance betwee n adjacent poles and provides visual separation for more efficient wiring. Mo unting pins simpli - fy installation and mounting of Eurostrips. Simply drill the mounting hole, position and install the pin from underneath the panel. When correct position is reached, pin will retain ter - minal to panel. Identify circuits and reduce wiring mis - takes with marking plates. Order plates imprinted or blank. Position under or on top of a Eurostrip housing. Imp rinting Eurostrips reduces wiring errors and helps to identify circuits. Use Imp rinting to mark individual poles wh en high quantities are involved or custom imprints are required.

Easy to use double row term inal strips are a cost-effec - tive alternative to barrier strips or other types of terminal blocks. Simply strip the wire, insert and tighten the screw. Eurostrips feature tubular screw clamps, with wire protec - tors, and recessed m etal parts for finger protection. The stain - less steel wire protectors exhib - it excellent memory and the m ost effective connection. Eurostrips described on this and the following page are available with a flat base for m inimum c learance applica - tions. They can be panel mount - ed or left to free float. Offered in easy to cut standard 12 pole strips, they can also be ordered precut with the required num - ber of poles.

Tw o-piece plugg able terminal strips feature tubular screw clamps , with recessed metal parts for finger protection. A spring loaded contact prevents inadvertant unplugging. Co nvenient options that facilitate installation and wire termination. Mo unting Pins Speed panel mo unting of Eurostrips with Mounting Pins. Simply match drill clearance hole in panel, position Eurostrip and install Mounting Pin through hole and into m ounting hole in Eurostrip housing. Once pin passes beyond Eurostrip housing, it autom atically expands, secur - ing housing to panel. Use two or more mo unting pins per Eurostrip.
