It w orks correctly w hen the flux of the liquid m aterial push the float against the spring: w hen the flux is suffi - ciently high to m ove the float to a fixed distance from the seeger block, the sensor sw itches O N . W hen the flux decreases, the spring push - es the float tow ards the seeger block and the con - tact sw itches O FF . All the m aterials (AISI 316 for the rod and the spring and plastic high tem perature resistant m aterial for the float) allow to use this sen - sor over a w ide range of applications.
