Flow through the horizontalpipeline causesthe pivoted vane assembly to swing in the directionof the flow. The vane assembly lifts an attraction sleevewh ichinturn causesthemag nettopullin and actuatethe sw itch. The O-ringsealedadjusting screw in the top of the enclosing tube compresses the range spring located above the attraction sleeve.Turning theadjustingscrew clockw ise increases the flow rateatw hichthe switch actuates.Adjustm entscan be m ade w hilethe flow switch isinservice.
