The sensors are useful in applications w here high- accuracy detection as w ell as sm all size is required. Com pact housing and high pow er LE D for excellent perform ance-size ratio. The potentiom eter used for adjustm ent of the sensitivity m akes the sensors highly flex - ible. The output type is N PN or PN P and the output sw itch - ing function is N O and N C.

tv = Pow er O N delay * The IP69K test according to D IN 4005 0-9 for high-pressure, high-tem perature w ash-dow n applications. The sensor m ust not only be dust tight (IP6X), but also able to w ithstand high-pressure and steam cleaning. The sensor is exposed to high pressure w ater from a spray nozzle that is fed w ith 8 0°C w ater at 8 '000– 10'000 KPa (8 0–100bar) and a flow rate of 14–6L/m in. The nozzle is held 100 –15 0 m m from the sensor at angles of 0°, 30°, 60° and 90° for 30s each. The test device sits on a turntable that rotates w ith a speed of 5 tim es per m inute. The sensor m ust not suffer any dam aging effects from the high pressure w ater in appea - rance and function. 90° 60° 30°
