  • Flexible conductive level probe
  • 1 to 5 electrodes
  • U ser defined electrode length
  • Isolated or unisolated electrodes
  • 1 1/2” pipe thread according to ISO 228/1-G 1 1/2A Product Description O rdering Key CLH 5 A com pact and flexible level probe for m easuring the level of conductive liquids, i.e overfill, dry run protection or pum p control. A total m easurem ents system consist of a m ultiple probe - head, 1 -5 electrodes and a control unit. The electrode length can be freely defined be m eans of electrode extention units - w ith or w ithout isolation. The relays react to the low alternating current creat - ed w hen the electrodes is in contact w ith the liquid. The reference (Ref) m ust be connected to the container or if the container are m ade of a nonconductive m aterial, to an additional electrode. In the diagram this electrode is show n by the dotted line. Electrodes C ut or extend the electrodes to the desirable length. If using extended electrodes, place the enclosed isolation tube over the extension joint, and heat it w ith a heat gun. M ount the electrodes in the probehead by m eans of the M 4 screw inserts. The resistance betw een the cores and the ground m ust be at last 2 0 0 k. In norm al cases it is recom m ended to use screened cable betw een probe and controller, e.g. w here the cable is placed in parallel to the load cables (m ains).
