DESCRIPTION
The main functionality of the gateway is to provide multiple communication protocols to equipment that have communication limited to a single protocol or do not have Ethernet access. The equipment must be able to connect to multiple devices and provide information from all of them. The gateway module has two ethernets, one on RJ45 and the other on M12, it also has a RS-485 protocol on RJ11, a RS -232 protocol on DB -9, a CAN protocol on a 3-pin connector and a USB 2.0 protocol on Type A connector. PoE has been implemented over the RJ-45 Ethernet to provide input power to the device. Check the user’s manual to know more about all the features of the gateway.
