Ifconnectingm ultipleM odel 300/301unitsina daisy- chain configuration,be sure to connect the wiringin paralleland have the ending unitwiththe termination resistorjumpered.Jum pers should be removed from other unitsin the daisy chain.T he threetermination jum per pins (JP1)arelocated behind the blackprotec - tivecover and justbelow the RS-485 terminalblock. The lastunitinthe daisychainshould have a jumper between pins1 and 2.Allotherunitsinthe daisychain should eitherhave a jumper between pins 2 and 3,or have no jum per atall. NOTE : Polarityam ong unitsinloop must be observed. NOTE : Ifconnectingseveralunits,note thecolorwireused forA and B and ensure that the same designatedcoloris used foreach ofthe units.
