© 2023 DESCO INDUSTRIES INC Employee Owned DRAWING NUMBER 36191 DATE: February 2023 DISSIPATIVE ROUND BRUSH WITH PLASTIC HANDLE,1/8 IN Characteristics:

  • ESD Brushes are ideal for removing dust, dirt, and left over materials from printed circuit boards (PCB) and other static senstive components.
  • Brushes minimize static charge generation and remove electrostatic charges to ground when held by grounded personnel
  • RTT Resistance: 1 x 109 to <1 x 1011 ohms tested per modified ANSI/ESD S4.1
  • Highly resilient, durable and abrasion resistant
  • For cleaning ESD sensitive assemblies
  • Conductive carbon loaded polyproylene handle
  • Conductive handle’s ESD properties are not affected by humidity as wooden handle brushes
  • Bristle Material: Nylon 6.12, yellow, 0.4mm filaments 3651 WALNUT AVE., CHINO, CA 91710 PHONE: (909) 627-2453 WEBSITE: MENDATools.com 4-10/16" 1/8" Specifications and procedures subject to change without notice. Designed to fulfill ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirement to ground all conductors at ESD workstation. ESD Handbook TR20.20 Table 1 lists under Typical Static Electricity Sources “Brushes (camel/pig hair and synthetic bristles).” “It should be understood that any object, item, material or person could be a source of static electricity in the work environment. Removal of unnecessary nonconductors, replacing nonconductive materials with dissipative or conductive materials and grounding all conductors are the principle methods of controlling static electricity in the workplace, regardless of the activity.” (TR 20.20 section 2.4)
