Thermocouple Simulator/Calibrator * Measures & simulates 7 types of thermocouple and mV * Portable * Automatic or manual cold junction compensation * Carry Case with compartment for leads Introduction The 1088 temperature calibrator fulfils the need for a portable thermocouple and indica- tor calibrator. Temperatures can be entered in either ºC or ºF and cold junction compensation can be automatically applied or manual entered. Fre- quently used values can be stored in memory and recalled in sequence by the step key. Thermocouple types J,K,R,S,T,B,E and mV / µV can be selected using the sealed mem- brane keyboard. The value, type and C.J.C. used are displayed on an Alpha Numeric L.C.D. display for unambiguous operation. The temperature may also be converted into its equivalent µV value and displayed. The 1088 is housed in a robust case with a carrying strap. A pocket for the instruction manual and test leads, etc is provided. Full operation, including recharging of the bat- teries, is possible without removal from case. The lid is reversible to facilitate operation. The 1088 is supplied complete with carry case, Ni-Cad cells, mains charger and a car cigar socket charging lead. Low and flat bat- tery conditions are indicated on the display.
