7.25" 5.875" 9.75" 8.75" 3"3.75" 2.25" 0.5" 1.5" 5.5" 2.5" WLRH Series Heliohm Wirewound The WLRH is a tough, versa- tile resistor appropriate for the following applications: motor starting and speed control, neutral grounding, lighting bal- lasts, and A.C. compressor buffers. This resistor can also be used in heating applica- tions. Choose from 45 models ranging from 0.25 to 250 Ohms to best fit your specific requirements. Resistors feature nickel- copper, nickel-chrome or stainless steel wire wound in a double helix around the center core, depending on size and model. All have ceramic cores with a spiral groove to grip the coiled wire. The 90° flat bus style terminals are corrosion resistant stainless steel. Other mounting options are available; contact us about your specific requirements. S P E C I F I C A T I O N S Electrical Current Rating: 1.0 - 32.0 Amps continuous Wattage Rating: Wattages can be calculated using I 2R from the data in the standard resistance value table. These are maxi- mums for continuous duty allow- ing a 375°C temperature rise. Working Voltage: Standard is 600 volts maximum to ground. Resistance Tolerance: ±10% Ohmic Values: Ohmic values listed in the table are at 25°C ±10%. Mounting: Resistors can be mounted in various options.
