Introduction The Prometheus WB.01 antenna is an ideal choice for extending coverage for high data rate LTE applications such as high definition video in buildings, in public areas, bus stations/subway stations, stadiums. It’s advanced design incorporating dual polarised (+/-45°) radiators is most suited for 2x2 MIMO applications. Internal Combiners allow for wideband operation on each port. Taoglas cross polarized slant 45° antennas are more robust than traditional horizontal and vertical cross polarized solutions. Horizontal and vertical cross polarizations can suffer fading due to reflections from buildings, vehicles and the general environment, these reflections occur more easily than ±45°. The radiation pattern from both ports of a ±45° Linear Polarisation antenna are symmetrical and almost overlap whereas horizontal and linear polarized patterns differ substantially. This means the Taoglas antenna delivers more reliable coverage areas with less drop-outs. The antenna cable length and connector can be customized on request. A combined wall/pole mounting bracket is supplied with the antenna for ease of installation.
