TOSHIBA INTELLIGENT POWER DEVICE SILICON MONOLITHIC POWER MOS INTEGRATED CIRCUIT HIGH-SIDE POWER SWITCH for MOTORS, SOLENOIDS, and LAMP DRIVERS TPD1008SA is a monolithic power IC for high-side STL switches. The IC has a vertical MOS FET output which can EF be directly driven from a CMOS or TTL logic circuit (e.g, [ Oo an MPU). The evice offers intelligent self-protection and — diagnostic functions.

FEATURES

@ Amonolithic power IC with a new structure combining a control block (Bi-CMOS) and a vertical power MOS FET (z- 1 “Ss MOS) on a single chip. SSIP5-P-1.70C @ One side of load can be grounded to a high-side switch. Ler @ Can directly drive a power load from a microprocessor. eS © Built-in protection against overheating and load short nH circuiting. = @ Incorporates a diagnosis function that allows diagnosis output to be read externally at load short circuiting, opening, or overheating. S ») @ Up to -10V of counter electromotive force from an L ‘T 5 load can be applied. 1 @ Low on resistance : Rps (ON) = 200m (Max) @ Low operating current: Ipp = 1mA (Typ.), @Vpp = 12V, Les ZIPS-P-1.70L VIN =0 => @ 5-pin TO-220 insulated package. } a) @ Three standard lead configurations. —— PIN ASSIGNMENT Vpo] » eh!
