TP400 V2.0 6/09 User’s Guide TP400 Type K Pipe Clamp Temperature Probe Operating Instructions 1. Using the Type K sub-miniat ure thermocouple connector, plug the TP400 in to a compatible Type K measuring instrument. 2. Squeeze the spring-loaded handles to open the clamp jaws. 3. Securely clamp the probe jaws around the object to be measured. 4. Read the temperature. Note: For best results, the surface area should be free of any dirt or substance that will inhibit thermal contact.
