FAIRCHILD LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT GENERAL DESCRIPTION — The TBA920s are monolithic integrated circuits designed for TV They accept the composite video signal, separate sync pulses (with the added safeguard of noise gating) and provide a sync output for the vertical integrator. Also incorporated is the horizontal (TOP VIEW) Oscillator along with two phase comparators, one to compare fiyback pulses to the oscillator and the PACKAGE OUTLINE 98 other for syne phase comparison. The devices will interface with both SCR and transistor deflection systems. + SYNC SEPARATOR * NOISE GATE : « HORIZONTAL OSCILLATOR “| jew * DUAL PHASE COMPARATOR vonaonca B incouney ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM RATINGS meow sat Eicon Supply Voltage 132 pee PUSS ou Total Power Dissipation (Note 1) 600 mw | MSE CORPARATOR.) treed Storage Temperature “86°C 10 #128"C | smeseAnHOR eamcipexce Operating Temperature —20°C to +60°C worn By noise cane Pin Temperature (Soldering, 10 s) 260°C -_ Voltages vi -16 13.2 V3 -16 0t013.2V Vg -16 12V v - 10-16 0.510 50V ORDER INFORMATION Currents TYPE PART NO. 1 (Average Value) ~20 ma 920 180920 15 (Peak Value) =< Ig (Peak Value) 10mA 9208 TBASZ0S. ty (Peak Value) 10 mA \\ Ig (Peak Value) 10 mA Jot recommended for new designs.
