What kind of RFID readers are appropriate for my customers? How can I suggest the right solution without changing the whole infrastructure on site? Sometimes, RFID companies and sales representatives are facing customers who do not know exactly which RFID technologies are supported by their transponders. Instead of replacing everything, it would be more convenient to simply identify the RFID technologies already in use and suggest the corresponding RFID reader. ELATEC TechTracer kits have been designed to meet this need and enable on-site identification of the most common LF and HF RFID technologies in use worldwide. The TechTracer Lite kit is a compact solution that enables an immediate identification of RFID technologies used at customer premises and a reduction of cost and lead time. I ts rugged case and compact dimensions make it the perfect companion for any business trip or sales event. Thanks to the powerful RFID desktop reader 1) and the 8 cards included in the kit, it is possible to demonstr ate easily how the identification of an RFID technology works: it simply needs to connect the reader to a PC and to present an RFID transponder or a customer ID card to the reader, which then displays details of the RFID technology in use. Special features: + Immediate technology identification reduces cost and lead time + Possibility to read more than 60 RFID technologies2) + Two RFID frequencies (125 kHz/13.56 MHz), NFC and BLE1) + Supports a powerful scripting environment for user-defined configuration + Contains a MIFARE Ultralight Smart Paper label and 8 transponder cards, each of them using a different RFID technology + Plug & Play solution (no additional software, driver or installation needed) + Configuration application, SDK and documentation are available on request/download + Recognizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons
