The T0727J5012AHF is a low cost, low profile sub-mi niature impedance transformer in an easy to use surface mou nt package. With smaller footprint, this single component replaces t he conventional discrete component matching network for the full LTE communi cation band 700 MHz–2700 MHz. The T0727J5012AHF delivers high perfo rmance, superior consistency, and reliability. The T0727J5012AHF is available on tape and reel and is ideal for pick and place high volume ma nufacturing. Paralleling four parts of T0727J5012AHF results in the impedance con version of 12.5 Ohm to 3 Ohm. Cascading another T0727J5012AHF in series provides a total impedance conversion of 50 Ohm to 3 Ohm. An illustrative moun ting configuration is shown below. It’s noted that the NC pins (pin 3 and pin 6) are connected with the adj acent pins (pin 4 and pin 1) to provide the wide line connection requ ired for the low impedance. Depending on the mount ing substrate and frequency band of application, the value of tuning capacitor may be further optimized.

If this condition is not satisfied, insertion loss, Isolation and VS WR may not meet published specifications. All of the Xinger components are constructed from o rganic PTFE based composites which possess excellen t electrical and mechanical stability. Xinger compone nts are compliant to a variety of ROHS and Green st andards and ready for Pb-free soldering processes. Pads are Gold plated with a Nickel barrier. Series capacitor C1 at pin1 and shunt capacitor C2 at pin4 are required to get the optimum performance . All the input and output pins are DC connected inte rnally together with RF grounds pins. DC bias can b e applied through appropriate RF choke and DC blocking capacitor. An example of the PCB footprint used in the testing of these parts is shown below.
