Single Wall PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing Newark.com/multicomp-pro Farnell.com/multicomp-pro sg.element14.com/b/multicomp-pro Page <1> 17/05/23 V1.1 Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) Heat Shrink (HS) Single wall heat shrink, provides the chemical and thermal characteristics of PTFE as well as the shrinking ability over inserted objects with exposure to moderate heat. Partial shrinkage occurs at 250°F with complete recovery at 450°F, with uses including soldered joints, parts, components, and fittings made of plastic, metal, or wood. During the shrink process on long objects, excess growth may cause wrinkles unless the tubing is allowed to slide forward over the object.
