DESCRIPTION
The Switching Power Supply Unit, SPSU/SPSU-V , is a transformerless power supply capable of high current output. It provides six amperes @ 24 VDC with either one or two amperes reserved for battery charging and the remaining power dedicated to system operation. The Switching Power Supply Unit, Vertical, (SPSU-V) contains LEDs and a “HIGH RATE” switch. It mounts on the left side of the 7200 Series system cabinet. The Switching Power Supply Unit, (SPSU) is used only in 7200 Series CAB/Aconfigurations or the 7200 Micro control. It contains an “AC ON” LED and mounts horizontally underneath the Keyboard Display Unit (KDU/KDU-L). The SPSU/SPSU-V contains all system overcurrent protection and a dual rate battery charger capable of maintaining sealed lead acid batteries up to 55 ampere/hour capacity. The SPSU/SPSU-V contains a pluggable terminal block for the connection of field wiring. This terminal block will accommodate wire up to 12 AWG . All power supply outputs are power limited.
