The SE2522BL is a 2.4GHz power amplifier. The device is designed for use in the 2. 4GHz ISM band for wireless LAN and cordless telephone applications. It incorporates a po wer d etector for closed loo p monitor ing of output power. For wireless LAN app lications, the devic e meets the requirements of IEE E802.11b a nd delivers approximately + 23dBm @ ACPR = -30d Bc. In IEEE802.11g applications the PA deliv ers approximately 16dBm. For cordless teleph one applic ations, the SE252 2BL delivers up to +25dBm saturated output power at 3.3V. The SE2522B L inc ludes a linear analog c ontrol ( 0.1 to 1.6V) for minimizi ng D C current con sumption an d maximizing PAE. The SE2522BL contains a digital enable for device on/off control, ramping is typical 1 µsec. The SE2522B L conta ins an in tegrated po wer detector with an in put power range of 15dB, an d an accurac y of ± 1.0dB. An accurate automatic level control function can easily be implemented using this detector circuit.
