The SABRW is a replacement window for the diffuse model Sensor Array Bar. Replacement windows are available in the lengths listed below. The replacement window attaches using the pre-installed adhesive tape. Replacement Window Model Sensor Length Window Material Material Thickness SABRW998P 998 mm Polycarbonate 1 1.5 mm (0.06 in) Install the Replacement Window 1. Loosen the end cap without the cable entry. This will help to remove the old window and help install the new one. 2. Remove the damaged window and all residue from the housing window channel. 3. Using a soft cloth, clean the metal surfaces on both sides of sensor' window channel. Clean the sensor lens, if needed. 4. Peel the paper backing from the tape. The adhesive tape is pre-installed to the window. 5. Press one end of the window to the cable end of the sensor housing, and apply pressure as you move slowly to the other end. 6. Press window down firmly moving along the entire length, using 103 kPa (15 psi) of pressure for best adhesion to the housing. 7. Re-tighten the end-cap to about 0.5N-M (4 inch-lbs). 8. Peel away the protective coating from the window’s outer surface. Maintain the Replacement Window To prevent loss of excess gain, clean the windows when they become dirty. Remove dirt and/or oil from the front face of the window using a mild detergent or window cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid industrial cleaning agents or cleaning agents containing alcohol, as they may damage the window material or the sensor. Replace the window if it is damaged or scratched in an area directly over the sensors. Banner Engineering Corp.
