DSP-17-8-058/A Page 2 of 3 1. Introduction The Snipertenna SA.2400 is a robust motorized antenna tracking system designed to track UAV’s during flight. Signal communication with UAV need to be stable and free from interference over large distance. The Snipertenna comprises of six 2.4GHz Wi-Fi patch antennas in a perfectly designed array that provides high isolation and prevents self-interference between patches. This unique antenna system automatically and mechanically adjusts its position to maintain a superior connection within visibility of the UAV and prevents the needs to constantly reposition the drone to try increase signal strength as has been the case until now. This substantially improves its communication reception to be over 30 times stronger and allow for high quality video and data streams. The Snipertenna is the perfect solution for UAV operators to ensure perfect signal strength and quality. Low loss cables are used to keep the efficiency high however the addition of low noise and power amplifiers also compensate for losses and ensure optimal communication with the UAV.
