Common applications include building fiber-to-free-space collimators and light-tight coupling to our DET and PDA detector series (see page 1285). SM1FCA The SM1PT has been designed to mount and integrate GRIN Fiber Collimation packages into Thorlabs’ SM1 (Ø1.035"-40) Series of internally threaded components. This adapter plate utilizes a nylon-tipped setscrew to secure the Grin Collimator in place. When used in conjunction with an SM1RR retaining ring (sold separately), the SM1PT can be locked into place within an SM1-compatible mount.
