The design is flexible and allows mounting to the left hand side or right hand side of the screen so that the antenna can be in close proximity to the users PCMCIA wireless adapter. The mount has an RPSMA Female connector so it can accept a similarly sized antenna with an RPSMA Male connector. The RV24-5RD can also be used to mount the high-gain antenna to a desktop monitor for desktop applications. The RV24-5RD comes complete with 5.5dBi antenna, mount, cable with choice of connector, cable clips, double sided tape (for permanent installations), velcro (for removable installations) and complete instructions.
