3M™ Repulpable Splittable Flying Splice Tapes R5348, R7359 and R7369 Shelf Life To obtain best performance, use this product within 12 months from date of manufacture. Application Ideas • Splittable flying splice tape is ideal for high speed newspaper and offset printing.
- Flying splice for cold paper stock 40°F (4°C), near freezing temperature.
- For optimum results, rub down tape with firm, even pressure to create the best possible adhesion between the tape and paper surface.
- Optimal application temperature range is: 40° to 100°F (4° to 38°C). Storage Store under normal conditions of 60° to 80°F (16° to 27°C) and 40 to 60% R.H. in the original packaging. Special Features • Ideal for off-line splice preparations and subsequent roll storage.
- Tape separates easily and smoothly without delaminating substrates.
- Engineered opening force for today’s high speed presses. Features • Fiber free splitting mechanism enables a smooth splice transition.
