Edition • 2023-07-21T15:47:26+02:00 excom I/O System Power Supply Module, 24 VDC, Zone 2 PSM24-3G.1 The PSM24… power supply module supplies the excom system with power to the full exten- sion. The power supply module can be used in Zone 2. Powered with 24 VAC. The external power supply is hooked up to Ex e clamps at the module rack. Any contact with the clamps in energized state should be avoided. They are located below a closure cap. Switch off power before contact. Redundancy: Two power supply units can be installed in combination with a suitable module rack. In case of power cut or failure of one device, the second unit provides the power for the whole system. Different potentials can be supplied. PSM24-3G compatibility mode: The PSM24-3G can be replaced by the new PSM24-3G.1 or both can be operated in par- allel on a module rack. Important note: When changing from the PSM24-3G to the new PSM24-3G.1, the knurled screw must be removed from the module rack. The PSM24-3G.1 is switched on and de-energized using the provided locking clip PSM24-LC. IoT mode: In IoT mode, additional data can be provid- ed. The PSM24-3G.1 power supply module cannot be operated in compatibility mode in this scenario. Evaluation is carried out via the excom Ethernet gateway GEN-… with a firmware version ï 1.5.2.0. The following da- ta is provided: power supply module available; maintenance recommended acc. to NE107; output current too high; actual input voltage; input voltage undershot or overshot; lowest in- put voltage; highest input voltage; operating hours counter; expected remaining lifetime. ■ DC power supply module, supplies a mod- ule rack in Zone 2 ■ Switch on/de-energize using the provided locking clip PSM24-LC ■ The knurled screw must be removed from the module rack!
