Rugged construction for the toughest environments. Rugged external two- piece cord grip provides uniform pressure for superior retention of conductors. Recessed cord-grip screw reduces screwdriver slippage, improves safety. Color-coded terminal screws are positioned on same plane and backed-out for fast installation. Chemical- and impact-resistant nylon housing features horizontal, easy-grip ribs on back body. Quick-thread assembly screws and cord grip screws come backed- out, ready-to-wire. Tapered wire wells guide conductors into captivated, staked clamping nuts. Double-wipe, firm-grip ground contact and triple-wipe power contacts guarantee a superior connection. Industrial-strength, brass alloy plug blades and connector contacts resist heat rise, provide excellent conductivity. Ground pin is reinforced for added strength and safety. See-through, thermoplastic terminal chamber for clear view of terminals and wire connections. Internal dust shield keeps terminals free of contaminants.
