/boxshadowup High voltage/ high surge capability /boxshadowup Cost effective surface mount package /boxshadowup Available on RCD’s exclusive SWIFT TM program OPTIONS /boxshadowup Option ER: Group A Screening per MIL-R-39008 RCR /boxshadowup Option B: Increased power /boxshadowup Option X: Non-inductive PULSE RESISTORS, SURFACE MOUNT Pulse tolerant surface mount resistors! Series PRM withstand high energy pulses, and are superior to conventional film & wirewound types. The heavy duty construction features a ceramic core, enabling improved thermal transfer and long term stability. Elements are protected by flame-retardant molding for excellent environmental performance. Alpha-numeric marking is standard. PRM resistors are cost effective in a wide variety of pulse applications including telecom line feed resistors, snubber circuits, in- rush currents, capacitor charge/discharge circuits, lightning surges, etc. SPECIFICATIONS TYPICAL PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS * specify Opt.75 for induc levels 50% that of Opt.X, or Opt.76 for 33% that of Opt.X SUGGESTED PAD LAYOUT↓ ← → F H G → ← A B .010” typ PRM1/2,.050” PRM1D C ← E → SURGE CAPABILITY 100 0.1Energy Rating, Joules RESISTORS /rhombus4CAPACITORS /rhombus4C OILS /rhombus4DELAY LINES DCR epyT gnitaRegattaW BtpOdtS .xaM egatloV 4,3,1 kaeP.xaM egatloVesluP 4,2 ecnatsiseR egnaR ]mm[hcnISNOISNEMID A BCD E F G H ]5.±1.5[ 510.±690. ]83.±44.2[ 10.±021. ]52.±81.3[ .niM520. ]36.[ 510.±540. ]83.±41.1[ 080. ]0.2[ 001. ]5.2[ 80. ]0.2[ ]5.±55.6[ 510.±011. ]83.±97.2[ 510.±051. ]83.±18.3[ .niM230. ]8.0[ 510.±060. ]83.±5.1[ 001. ]5.2[ 521. ]2.3[ 021. ]0.3[ 2/1MRPW 2W5.V 053V K51 .0 Ω K42- 420.±274. ]6.±21[ 20.±802. ]5.±3.5[ 610.±822. ]4.±8.5[ .niM050. ]72.1[ 20.±070. ]5.±87.1[ 061. ]0.4[ 081. ]75.4[ 002. ]0.5[ 1MRPW 4W1V 005V K011 .0 Ω K001- 020.±118. ]5.±6.02[ 020.±572. ]5.±99.6[ 020.±372. ]5.±39.6[ .niM360. ]6.1[ 820.±201. ]7.±6.2[ 002. ]0.5[ 002. ]0.5[ 006. ]2.51[ gnitareDegattaW detaredebotB.tpO(C°07>C°/%52.1 )C°52>C°/%8.0 *cudnI.xaM: X .tpO ≤ 05 Ω *cudnI.xaM: X .tpO > 05 Ω 1MRPHu3.,2/1-8/1MRPHu2.0 1MRPHu6.,2/1-8/1MRPHu73.0 daolrevOemit-trohS% 5.0± gnilcyCerutarepmeT% 5.0± ).liavampp02(RCT2 .0<(C°/mpp021± Ω )mpp002= ecnatsiseRerutsioM% 1± noitarbiVdnakcohS% 2.0± gniredloSfotceffE% 2.0± tneiciffeoCegatloVV /%500.0± efiLdaoLB .tpO%1±,dtS%5.0± egnaRpmeTgnitarepO. liavaC°572+,C°051+ot55- htgnertScirtceleiD) .liavaVK1(V005 FA005E Sale of this product is in accordance with GF-061. Specifications subject to change without notice. RoHS Term.W is RoHS compliant & 260°C compatible Use chart above to select model to meet desired surge level. Pulse not to exceed peak V & j ratings (derate 30% for Opt.X), and average power during repetitive pulses nte rated W. 30% safety factor is recommended for infrequent pulses, 50% typ. for repetitive pulses (request Note R42 for derating factors attributable to pulse width, rep. rate, temp., altitude, humidity). Verify by evaluating under worst-case conditions. Depending on specifics, PR series can often satisfy the surge ANSI/IEEE C62.41, CCITT (Rec.
