DESCRIPTION

The PGA2311 is a high–performance, stereo audio volume control designed for professional and high-end consumer audio systems. Using high performance operational amplifier stages internal to the PGA2311 yields low noise and distortion, while providing the capability to drive 600Ω loads directly without buffering. The 3-wire serial control interface allows for connection to a wide variety of host controllers, in addition to support for daisy-chaining of multiple PGA2311 devices. www.ti.com Please be aware that an important notice concerning availability, standard warranty, and use in critical applications of Texas Instruments semiconductor products and disclaimers thereto appears at the end of this data sheet. Exposure to absolute maximum conditions for extended periods may degrade device reliability. ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE SENSITIVITY This integrated circuit can be damaged by ESD. Texas Instruments recommends that all integrated circuits be handled with appropriate precautions. Failure to ob- serve proper handling and installation procedures can cause damage. ESD damage can range from subtle performance degradation to complete device failure. Precision integrated circuits may be more susceptible to damage because very small parametric changes could cause the device not to meet its published specifications.
