- Shielded The P7640 family comprises of very high The P7640 family is compliant with RoHS Directive current shielded power choke coil in low profile size. 2002/95/EC and suitable for lead-free and conventional placement and reflow. The products self-leaded construction consist of fe rrite core and helical coil from enamel-coated copper wire. The range covers inductance values from 0.085µH to 0.22µH, and provides compact solutions for high power applications with saturation currents ranging between 33 A to 70 A.

a) The inductance vs. current and temperature chara cteristic curves presented are typical values b) The inductance vs. current curves are generated by measuring inductors at 25 ºC ambient temperature. c) Temperature rise is measured at an ambient temperature of 25ºC. A current is applied for 8 minutes and temperature is measured when the point of the components temperature is stable using an infrared thermometer directed at the bottom surface of the component.
