DESCRIPTION

MT8823 is a step-down DC/DC LED driver with an integrated 90V/5A MOSFET designed for a wide input-voltage range of 8V to 90V. MT8823 has rich characteristics, including low standby power dissipation, high efficiency, low current ripple, good line regulation and load regulation, etc. It is suitable for high output current application and the output current is up to 2A. MT8823 supports both constant output voltage and current. MT8823 uses fixed-frequency PWM peak current control mode, the typical switching frequency is 140KHz. Under light load condition, the switching frequency is automatically reduced to achieve high conversion efficiency. MT8823 integrates soft startup, over temperature protection, output short-circuit protection, current limit protection, etc. to reduce the peripheral components and improve the system reliability.
