DESCRIPTION

MT7970 is a high performance Primary Side Regulation AC/DC power supply controller which includes many protection functions. It eliminates system peripheral components greatly because of the high level of integration, so it can be used in low-cost design preferably. MT7970 provides functions of low startup current and leading-edge blanking of the current sensing. Also, the MT7970 features cycle-by-cycle Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO) and Over Temperature Protection (OTP) to prevent the circuit being damaged from the abnormal conditions.
