This state- of-the-art, high-performance SCSI drive stores up to 1.3GB on a single MO disk, provides a 28 millisecond seek time, and boasts a Mean-Time- Between-Failure (MTBF) of 120,000 hours. High-Performance Storage The MCD3130SS optical drive provides high- capacity and high-reliability storage. It is ideal for users who require high density and performance for multimedia, audio, video, archiving or industrial applications such as medical imaging and engineering. With data transfer rates up to 5.9MB/sec., this drive meets the requirements of today’s demanding applications. Fujitsu is able to achieve the highest capacity of any 3.5" magneto-optical drive with the advent of Magnetic Super Resolution (MSR) technology.
