It is intended to be a similar replacement for the MRFIC0916 and is housed in the smaller SOT–343R surface mount package. As with the MRFIC0916, the device is designed for general purpose RF applications, but has improved high frequency gain and noise figure. On–chip bias circuitry sets the bias point, while matching is accomplished off–chip, affording the maximum in application flexibility.
