Providing conversionword ratesfrom dc to 11MHz, 16MHz and 20MHz the MATV-0811, MATV-0816 and MATV-0820 are the lowest cost AID convertersin theirperformance class. As complete devices, they requireonly the addition of externalpower to accomplish precisionvideo AID conversion. The use of internalhybrid microcircuitconstructionallows thesemodular AID's to occupy a volume of only 21 cubic inches. They are housed in metal caseswhich not only shieldthe cir- cuitsfrom externalRF interference, but aid inefficientheat. dissipation.A choice of analog input voltagesisavailable,in- cluding the industrystandard 0 to + 1V at 7SQ. The encode command input, data ready output, and the digitalbitoutputs are allTTL compatible. Designed to operate from either:!:12V or :!:lSVanalog and +SV digitalsupplies(MATV-o811 and MATV-o816 alsorequire-S.2V), the MATV seriesdissipate lessthan 8 watts.Their weight is< 10 ounces due to enclosure ratherthan encapsulation. This technique facilitatesrapid, inexpensivefactory repairand aidsin reliableprinted circuit board mounting by the customer without extensivemechan- icalconstraintsor system engineering. Relativedc accuracy is0.2% of fullscale:!:l/2LSBwhen oper- atingover the frequency range of dc to 20MHz. The MATV seriesisdesigned to digitizecolortelevisionsignalsat rates up to 20MHz and isalsoideallysuitedfor other analog to digitalconversion requirements, such as radarsignalprocessing, laserpulse analysis, transientanalysis, and medical electronics applicationswhere real-timeanalysisand displayof largequan- titiesof information are required. a-BitVideo Analog-to-DigitalConverter MATV-0811,-0816,-0820I "YBR'" GRAY (NCODERS .OT. TypicalDifferentialPhaseof MA TV-O816 Operatingat 15MHz Word Rates Device Marking The MATV seriesAID that you order willbe marked with a seriesof alphanumerics which specificallydesignatethe options builtinto the device. For the standard devices, these willbe as follows: MA TV -0811 willbe marked MA TV -0811-1-BIN-l 5 for older devices,or MATV-0811-AAI50 for newer devices. MATV-0816 willbe marked MATV-0816-0175 BIN 75143150 for older devices,or MATV-0816 ABBAI43150 for newer devices. MATV-0820 willbe marked MATV-0820-0175 BIN 75 for older devices,or MATV-0820 ABAA for newer devices. This information isprovided so that there willbe no confusion as to why information other than the basicmodel number ap- pears on the device identificationlabel, which might cause problems at a customers' incoming inspection. ~-- OBSOLETE
