Dual-Channel Output Hall Effect Latch GENERAL DESCRIPTION MA7080 is a dual -channel, bipolar switch with two Hall effect sensing elements, each providing a separate digital output for speed and direction signal processing capability. The device is using HV BCD process includes an on -chip Hall voltage generator for magnetic sensing, a comparator that amplifies the Hall voltage, and a Schmitt trigger to provide switching hysteresis for noise rejection, and open -collector output. An internal band -gap regulator is used to provide temperature compensated supply voltage for internal circuits and allows a wide operating supply range. If a magnetic flux density larger than threshold Bop, OUT is turned on(low). The output state is held until a magnetic flux density reversal falls below Brp causing OUT to be turned off (high). FEATURES - 2.5V to 26V DC Operation Voltage - Dual-Channel Output - 1 mm Hall Element Spacing - Temperature Compensation - Open-Drain Pre-Driver - 25mA Maximum Sinking Output Current. - Package : SIP-4L PIN ASSIGNMENT The package of MA7080 is SIP-4L; the pin assignment is given by: Package Sensor Location VDD OUT1 OUT2 ( Top View) GND 1.0mm 1.3mm 1 2 3 4 ( Marking Side ) Sensor1 Sensor2 Name Description VDD Supply Voltage OUT1 Output 1 OUT2 Output 2 GND Ground.
